Italian Newcomer Ivan Federico Sweeps Vancouver for 1st Place Honors and Global Challenger Rankings Lead; French Park Warrior Robin Bolian Secures First Park Series Podium

Los Angeles, CA (July 15, 2016) – A fearless exhibition of skateboarding ruled Vancouver’s Hasting’s Skatepark last weekend as the Vans Pro Skate Park Series took course for the third Global Qualifier event in the series. Challengers from around the world stole the show, yielding winners from Italy, France and the United States. Now only one stop away from skateboarding’s first-ever park terrain World Championships in Sweden this August, Vancouver podium winners Ivan Federico, Robin Bolian and Cory Juneau must rise to the occasion to earn the coveted Malmö invitation.

Honorable mention goes to PS Select Pro Kevin Kowalski, who landed a show stopping transfer over the “island of despair” into the deep end—only the second successful attempt in the storied 15-year history of Hastings Skatepark.
