The 2016 Vans Park Series season consists of four Mens PS Global Qualifiers and one Womens PS Global Qualifier occurring over a period of five months and spanning four continents, culminating with the Vans Park Series official World Championships in Malmö, Sweden. 

The five highest ranked skaters to emerge from the PS Global Qualifier system will challenge the fifteen pre-seeded exclusive Vans Park Series Select pros for the title of park terrain World Champion in Malmö, Sweden on August 20. Park Series Select pros earn pre-seeding rights at every PS Global Qualifier event for the year, with final qualification for the Vans Park Series World Championships determined by participation in a minimum of three PS Global Qualifier events.

The Vans Park Series Mens Global Qualifier system is made up of four events. Each Qualifier stop of the Vans Park Series will feature participating Park Series Select Pros and is open to established ams and pros. Qualified applicants may submit a registration request form online at All requests will be reviewed and participation will be granted for each event at the discretion of the official competition organizer. Approved competitors will receive points for their placements at each event and their final rankings will be based on an average of their top three (3) placements over the course of the series.

There will be one (1) Vans Park Series Womens Global Qualifier event on July 30 in Huntington Beach, California. Rankings from this event will determine Womens World Championship eligibility.
